What even is an art exhibition anyway? What makes one? Who decides what makes one? Is it about the curation, how each artwork is categorised, its meanings teased out until they become a series of meaningless intellectual gestures far removed from the artist's original intentions. Is it defined by quality – premium materials, tools and products. Is it about evoking a response from viewers, making them think? Or should an exhibition simply be about putting artwork in a location to be viewed.
